Dr. Nathaniel Owen is a Research and Analysis Manager at Oxford University Press. He holds a PhD in language testing from the University of Leicester and has published monographs, articles and book chapters on a diverse range of subjects in language testing, including assessment in English-medium instruction contexts, assessment for learning, assessing writing and test specifications. He has also published articles on quantitative research methods and widening participation in higher education. He came to language testing through teaching English as a foreign language in Spain, the UK and Australia, with expertise in teaching EAP and exam preparation courses.
