The 10th EdTech Summit is to be held on March 4, 2023 in Istanbul. The purpose of the summit is to bring together educators, technology companies, entrepreneurs, managers and the media experts under one roof. The event will include local and international ICT experts, interactive workshops and panel discussions with the aim of exploring the latest trends in this field and sharing best practice in an age increasingly shaped by the widespread use of new technologies in education.
By bringing together the various stakeholders, we will enable educators, ICT experts and others to come together and address issues that concern all those who are interested in education for the 21st century. Much has changed recently but not everyone is comfortable with change. According to an old saying, 'when the winds of change blow, some people build walls; others build windmills'. We cannot ignore the new developments in ICT and it behoves us professional educators to see how we can harness the opportunities afforded by the new technologies in order to 'build windmills' that will give us the energy to make progress now and in the future.
